chocolate peanut butter cream pieSubj: Macro-Friendly Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Pie that’s so good it’ll make you want to slap your mama.

In this post I show you how to make chocolate peanut butter cream pie that’s actually good for you.

It’s super easy to make and only has 5 ingredients.

This protein pie is the perfect way to satisfy your sweet tooth without cheating on your diet (too much).

It’s high-protein and all natural. This delicious dessert is for you guys and gals out there searching for a morsel to satisfy you without the guilt.

It might just be the Holy Grail of bodybuilding treats.

Where did this amazing recipe come from?

I actually invented it by accident.

I wanted a high-protein, low-fat snack and mixed peanut butter powder with greek yogurt.

And WHAM!

The protein pie filling was born.

When I mixed those two ingredients together I knew it would make an amazing pie.

I was right. And today I’m sharing my secret recipe with you.

My Super Secret Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Pie Recipe

It only has 5 ingredients. It’s super simple and tastes hella-good.

Here’s what you need:

  • 32oz tub of vanilla non-fat greek yogurt. I use Oikos greek yogurt because it’s creamy and there are no preservatives.
  • 1 cup of PB2 Chocolate Peanut Butter Powder
  • 2 cups Almond Flour
  • 1 large egg
  • Fat Free Cool Whip
  • and a little slice of grass-fed butter to grease the pan

Part 1: How to Make Almond Flour Protein Pie Crust

To kick things off, mix the almond flour and whole egg together to make the crust for the protein pie.

I used a spoon to mix and mash the almond flour into the egg until you have a smooth dough ball.

It will look very dry at first. You might not think one egg is enough to moisten all the almond flour but it is.

Just keep mixing until the egg soaks into all the flour. Use the round side of a spoon to mix and mash the egg and almond flour together.

Once the egg is evenly mixed with the almond flour, Form it into a dough ball with your hands just like you’re making a snowball to throw at your neighbor’s car:

Place  your dough ball on a greased 9-inch baking pan.

Next, press the dough into the pan with your hands. Squish it down and around until the pan is fully covered to the top edge. massage the dough until it’s an even thickness covering the whole pan.

Then, grab a fork and poke some holes in the crust.

Make sure to poke holes in the bottom and sides. This will prevent bubbling.

After your crust is nice and perforated, bake it in the oven at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes, or until the edges look crispy and golden-brown.

Take it out and let the crust cool. Stick it in the fridge to speed up this process while you move on to the next step.

Part 2: How to Make Delicious Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Pie Filling

This protein pie filling is amazing.

You’ll want to eat it with a spoon until you puke. it takes just like creamy gelato.

Here’s how you make it:

Scoop a entire tub of greek yogurt into a large bowl and add one cup of PB2 chocolate peanut butter powder on top.

Mix it all together evenly. you need to force these two ingredients to mix well.

You’re done when the color and texture is even throughout and the mixture resembles gelato.

Enjoy Your Chocolate Peanut Better Cream Protein Pie

Go ahead and have a slice – it cuts up nice and the filling is thick enough to stay in place. I’m going to warn you though, this protein pie is addicting.

Luckily, it’s a relatively clean way to satisfy your sweet tooth or sugar craving and every bite helps you build muscle.

It’s unbelievably tasty and compared to practically everything else, it’s healthy as shit.

One slice has 24 grams of protein and 281.5 calories total (11.5 grams of fat and 20.5 carbs.)

For an even bigger dose of muscle building power, you can add protein powder in the pie filling.
