Subj: The Best Supplements for Building Muscle.
The supplement industry is out for one thing and one thing only:
Your money.
Companies produce supplements that are complete dog shit. Some are border line unethical.
Buyer beware – It’s your choice to part with your hard earned cash. And if you do, make sure you put your money to work. Buy supplements that actually work.
Reputable brands are few and far between. The modern day supplement industry is like the wild west – anything goes.
Supplement ‘dealers’ know every trick in the book to extort money the unsuspecting public with promises of “MAD GAINS BRO!”
To be honest – natural supplements will get you a 5-10% improvement in you physique, maximum. Other benefits include energy and recovery aids. Hard training a proper diet alone will get you in great shape if you know what you’re doing.
Over the years I have tried many supplements including Pre-workout, creatine, mass gainers, protein powders, thermogenics, multi-vitamins, fish oil, health tonics, detox potions, etc.
There are a few supplements that will actually do what they claim.
You wouldn’t waste time and energy on an exercise that doesn’t work would you? So don’t throw money away on stuff that doesn’t work. Focus and the supplements that give you the most benefit and forget about the rest.
However there are a select few supplements that are beneficial. They have undeniable strength, muscle building, and health benefits.
The Best Supplements on Earth
Optimum Nutrition Protein Powder
Protein powder really needs no introduction. Although protein powders have been bastardized by the supplement industry in recent years. Greedy companies load their protein powder with filler, cheap, BCAAs and other bullshit. For this reason you might want to think twice about buying the cheaper protein powder.
Protein is necessary to build a strong, healthy body. Protein literally means ‘most important’. You need to consume enough protein everyday to build new muscle, bone, and other body tissue.
If you’re like most people, it’s unlikely that you get enough protein in your diet. You want to make sure you are getting enough protein when strength training in order to build muscle and recover from your workouts. A woman should get 50-75 grams per day. A man should get 75-100. Double it if you’re a man or woman that lifts weights.
When it comes to protein I go for quality. It’s a little pricier I use Optimum Nutrition Natural Whey protein powder almost exclusively.
I’ve used to use the cheap stuff before but won’t touch it again. It made me feel bloated and nauseous. It was full of artificial ingredients and it messed with my stomach. I only drink protein after my workouts. Sometimes I’ll have a shake before bed if I want a snack. I put two scoops in my Blender Bottle and mix it with water. Or I make a delicious Peanut Butter protein shake with my Ninja Blender.
Bottom Line: Protein is essential if you want to grow bigger and stronger. Buy some and drink a shake every day post-workout of before bed.
Uni-Liver Tablets
Liver Tablets are are a game changer. They are one of the best supplements for a reason.
Liver is protein dense and full of all the essential Branch Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs). Your body uses BCAAs to build muscle, bone, and other tissue. It’s also a readily available fuel source for when your body and supplies need nutrients for protein synthesis.
Liver Tablets are one of the best pre workout I’ve used. It’s not like N.O. Explode but it’s much better for you. It gives me energy and more strength. I added 30 pounds to my squat in one week. Going from 285 on squat for 2 reps to 315 for 3 reps. (It was either these or the fact a girl told me I had chicken legs). Either way, those two things happened and my squat went up substantially. It also gave me endurance to push through a heavy, high volume (grueling) leg workout. The BCAA in the liver tabs give you energy by making proteins freely available during hard workouts. And believe me, you can feel the difference.
For best effect, take 5-10 before a workout and watch your strength and endurance shoot through the roof.
Get the Liver tablets that are made from grass-fed beef livers. Grass fed means they weren’t pumped full of hormones or fed corn feed to bulk them up and make then fat for slaughter. This means they lived as happy free range cows grazing on green grass which makes for healthy liver in its purest form.
These are large tablets but easy to swallow one at a time.
